Clicks®

UX/UI Design - Web App

About

What is this?

Clicks® is not just a global real estate platform; it is a dynamic ecosystem that actively bridges the gap between property owners, potential buyers/renters, and real estate agents. Moreover, it passively attracts the attention of property developers, real estate investors and service providers involved in property maintenance, providing customized services through the implementation of AI and analytics. The core objective of Clicks is to establish trust and foster a sense of community/social network within the platform, uniquely streamlining the real estate experience for all users.

Requirement, Insights and Challenges

Requirement Overview

Give Clicks® an enhanced user experience and a digital shift through a complete website revamp.

Objective

•      Brand tone and positioning re-direction.
•      Improve user conversion and retention rates.
•      Responsive design.

Challenges

•      No access to user-behavior data.
•      Designing for 2 different environments - Pre-login (React JS) and Post-login (Flutter).
•      Complex user-flows needed re-purposing and simplification.
•      Aligning 6 different personas/target user groups with the platform & business goals.
•      Communication and co-ordination with cross-functional teams, since this is a remote role.
•      Handling biases and objections.
•      Resource constraint.
•      Time constraint.

Analysis and Findings

•      Brand tone and positioning needed a re-direction.
•      Lacked emphasis on guiding user decisions.
•      Lack of feedback to users.
•      Sign-up process was stiff.
•      Design and visuals elements were inconsistent and also needed a re-purpose.
•      Information heirarchy needed improvement.
•      Complex/confusing userflow(s).
•      Access to features and call-to-actions were either hidden or difficult to reach.

Key Strategies

Brand Tone and Positioning

Changed to more intentional, friendly and directed towards target users.

Persona-fied experience

Designed a default home page and 6 persona-specific pages tailored to align with each user group priorities.

Mobile User Priority

Majority of the traffic came from mobile users. I refined content heirarchy and visual structure through clear headline, simple layouts and intentional CTAs.

Ease of Use

Simplified navigation and user flows, with clear instructions to users.

Ease of Decision

The property listings weren't attractive and lacked emphasis on important contents and contact reach. Redesigned it to help users make quick decision.

Organized and Easy to Access

Filters and features were uncategorized and crowded, the space constraint made it hidden and difficult for users to find. The filters were categorized and grouped better thus minimalizing the space consumed making it easy to access

Ad Spaces

Strategically repositioned Ads making them non-intrusive and blend with the other contents.

Memorable PVP Experience

Redesigned and re-purposed the complete PVP (Property Virtual Profile) experience, making it one of a kind feature it's meant to be.

Enticing and Meaningful Payment Flows

Improved price plans design and simplified payment flows made more meaningful for an enhanced user engagement.

Building Trust Factor

Improved the user's trust score journey that earned them badges to add more credibility to their profiles.

Designed for Perspectives

Clear bi-furcation of experiences from a content creator POV and public POV thus further enhancing the experience.

Achievement/ Result

~50%
Increased user conversion rate in the first week of new design launch.
~40% - 100%
Consistent user conversion rates since launch.
